DOG TRAINING

Established in April 2021, BPawsitive are forward thinking Dog Training Specialists and Canine Reiki Practitioners operating in Grantham and the surrounding areas as well as offering remote online consultations in the UK and overseas. 

BPawsitive founder, Becky Walker, is an experienced force free, positive reinforcement dog trainer who will only ever use kind and ethical up to date, modern, scientifically proven training methods, and is proud to be a member of the National Institute of Canine Ethics as well as being a lifetime student member of the Dog Training College and studying with other institutes such as the IMDT and Canine Principles ensuring that both ourselves and our clients are kept up to date with the latest advances in the Dog training industry.

We will never put your relationship with your Dog at risk by practising out of date, cruel and aversive training techniques or by using harsh training tools that no longer have a place in the training of any animal, and instead offer a kind and ethical approach that will enhance your bond with your dog whilst gaining their trust and building their confidence. 

Having gained valuable experience working with Dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes BPawsitive are confident that we can give you the tools that you need to help enrich your dogs life, provide them with valuable life skills and by giving them the guidance and support that they need throughout their various life stages.

From providing vital Puppy foundation skills such as a reliable recall, loose lead walking and housetraining etc to helping with issues such as reactivity, fear aggression and separation anxiety.  We will help you to understand your dogs behaviour and find a tailored plan to help you to overcome your Dog training struggles by offering full support during your training journey even if you own an exempt breed as we are fully insured.   

Each Dog is unique and different having their own strengths and weaknesses.

There is no one size fits all in dog training and BPawsitive prioritise yours and your Dogs wellbeing, safety and happiness above all, we do not fit the mould of a typical obedience dog trainer as dogs are not robots and do have minds and personalities of their own which we respect, however we do believe that they need guidance and boundaries to ensure they are kept safe and healthy.   

BPawsitive simply means to be positive and live your best life with your dog.

But most of all, we are going to provide a fun, professional, rewarding and positive experience.

We also offer Solo walks for Dogs that are not able to walk in a group.

CANINE REIKI

BPawsitive also offer Canine Reiki energy healing treatments either in person or by distance. 

Reiki healing energy only goes where it is needed and can be a great way to help your Dog to decompress and relax as well as providing comfort following trauma, which can be useful for Rescues and anxious or nervous dogs. 

This is a non invasive treatment and can even be carried out by distance/ remote healing so there is no need to add additional stress, worry or confusion to your Dog. 

There are many benefits to Reiki, including: 

* Enhancing Wellbeing

* Helps to ease pain and discomfort

* Reduces stress and promotes relaxation

* Boosts the immune system

* Decreases healing time after surgery or illness

* Assists in removing psychological and/or emotional blocks that are affecting physical health.

* Reiki in no way replaces traditional veterinary care and a qualified vet should always be consulted if your have any medical concerns - Reiki is a complimentary therapy for which BPawsitive are fully insured as a qualified level two Reiki practitioner.

1:1  Consultations *£40.00 an hour

Training Sessions *£40.00 an hour

Reiki Treatment £25.00 (approx. 30-60 mins)

Walks £15.00

* Please note that a fee for fuel will be applicable when not local to Grantham (10 + miles complete journey), 1:1 Consultations, Reiki Treatments and training sessions can be paid via bank transfer on booking or cash or bank transfer on the day of the appointment.
